warrior women
‘WARRIOR WOMEN: Past, Present and Future’ an exploration of how female protest shapes our world.
how we made the work
Project Female Dance Company has worked in collaboration with EmpowHER/ UKYouth to develop a youth-led socially engaged practice with the end goal of providing a platform for our young people to amplify their call for social change.
The youth led creative process that Project Female has developed offers purpose and growth for our young people along with a platform to amplify their voices and share their experiences of the world in a way which directly resonates with other young females and audience members who need to hear what they have to say.
Acknowledging the fight that has brought us to where we are today, our young women reflect on the events taking place around the world and how the reality of women being stripped of essential human rights impacts their vision of the future where perpetually fighting for female rights is an irrefutable necessity.
