Dance theatre Companies
Our Dance Theatre Companies aim to empower young women and girls to express themselves through dance.
The dance companies fuse choreography styles, influenced by street, contemporary and commercial dance.
Each company creates dance theatre pieces that reflect issues impacting our dancers. At the centre of every piece are their authentic voices.
We aim to support, empower and amplify young people to tell their stories.
Companies takes part in live performances, dance films, and digital projects throughout the year. This provides invaluable experiences for young dance creatives.
We group our Dance Theatre Companies by age and ability.
The Project Female Dance Company is the main company. They produce socially-engaged dance theatre. Each year they create a full length dance theatre show for Brighton Fringe Festival.
To join a dance company we hold auditions each year. Learn more about the audition process.
